The NYS Department of Health has awarded Family Planning of South Central New York the Comprehensive Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention grant. This significant grant, totaling 1.8 million dollars over five years, aims to further implement community-based programs that support initiatives for preventing adolescent pregnancies in communities that lack resources and opportunities. Family Planning will partner with school districts in Broome, Chenango, and Cortland counties to deliver age-appropriate sexual health education in middle and high schools, thus furthering their commitment to adolescent prevention efforts.
