Coughlin & Gerhart LLP Announces Montrose Expansion with the Addition of Rachael Thomas, Esq and Support Staff to Firm

BINGHAMTON, NY, March 5, 2024 – Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP is pleased to announce it is
expanding its Montrose office! The firm is increasing its office space and its workforce by
bringing on an additional lawyer and support staff. These additions will enhance its capacity to
better serve the community.

As part of this growth, Rachael Thomas joined the firm as special counsel, effective March 4,
2024. Thomas’ practice is concentrated in the areas of real estate, estate planning and
administration, small business formation and dissolution, and guardian ad litem services. Prior
to joining Coughlin & Gerhart, Thomas was a partner of DeWitt & Thomas Law Offices, P.C.,
located in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. Thomas is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar
Association and the Susquehanna Bar Association, where she currently serves as Secretary of
the Bar. She also serves on the Board of Directors for NEPA Community Health Care and the
Susquehanna Community School District.

Adding Thomas to the firm is part of Coughlin & Gerhart’s expansion plan. An additional staff
member is joining the firm as well to help support the expansion. Thomas will work primarily in
the Montrose office and will allow for the firm to offer more legal services to the North Eastern
PA region. The Montrose office offers Wills, Trusts, Estate Administration, Real Estate,
Business, Family Law, Municipal Law, Oil and Gas, Litigation, Personal Injury services as well
as general counsel.
