On April 26, 2023 I was voted in as an Interim Chairperson of the Statewide Family Support Services Council. The Council advises the Commissioner of the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) in Albany about family needs around NY state and also becomes a member of the state’s Developmental Disabilities Advisory Council. I am currently the parent of a child with disabilities and am the Director of Community Support Services at Racker, a local non-profit organization.
