The Voice of Business
The Chamber is the lead advocate for the Greater Binghamton business community. Our objective is to build partnerships with our local elected officials and influence public policy in a manner that generates economic growth, innovation and fosters new investment and opportunity for employers in the region. We encourage you to participate in the advocacy process, let your voice be heard, and show our community that your business cares about the vibrancy of our area.
Legislative Agenda
Each year, we use input from the Chamber’s Small Business Council Legislative Committee, the Government Affairs Committee as well as directly from our members to develop an annual Legislative Agenda that reflects the priorities of our business community.
Advocacy Events
The Chamber hosts various events throughout the year that aim to educate our members on pertinent policy issues that may impact their business or industry and offer them the opportunity to engage with their elected officials.
Upstate United
Upstate United is a bipartisan coalition of over 80 business and trade organizations representing upwards of 70,000 companies and employing more than 1.5 million people.
