New York State Workforce Development Initiative
The State of New York has announced 175 million dollars to be used statewide to help better equip the State’s workforce. The workforce development money will be given out through the CFA (Consolidated Funding Application) process. This process will be supported by the regional REDCs (Regional Economic Development Councils). The three categories of awards will be: Employer-Driven Skills, Public-Private Partnerships to Advance 21st Century Skills, and Workforce Solutions.
