Broome County Arts Council Launches 2026 Business of Art Workshop Series

Binghamton, NY. The Broome County Arts Council (BCAC) is pleased to announce the 2026 Business of Art Professional Development Program, a workshop series designed to equip artists, creators, and arts administrators with the business skills and professional resources they need to thrive in today’s creativity economy.
Led by industry professionals and practicing artists, the program covers three core areas: Art Entrepreneurship, Art Marketing & Management, and Art Business. The series kicks off this Saturday, April 25, with two workshops at BCAC’s office at 223 State Street, Binghamton, NY.

- Pricing & Knowing Your Value with Craig Vollmer, Saturday, April 25 | 11AM-12:30PM
- The Creative Masterminds: Navigating Your Path with Rachel Consolazio & Ann Pellegrino, Saturday, April 25 | 1-3PM
- Portfolio Review & Development with Alisha Sickler-Brunelli, Saturday, May 2nd | 1-3pm
- Participating in The Broome County Arts Festival: From Applications to Regulations with Richard Nolan, Saturday, May 30th | 1-3PM
- Grant Writing with Jenny Chang, Thursday, June 11th | 1-2pm ONLINE
- Creatively Managing Your Finances with Phil Nelson, Date: TBD
- Gallery Representation: How to Approach Galleries With Your Work with Orazio Salati, Date: TBD
All workshops are open to the public and held at BCAC’s office at 223 State Street, Binghamton NY, unless otherwise noted. Admission is $25 per workshop for non-members. BCAC members receive five complimentary workshops, with additional sessions available at a reduced rate of $15 each. Annual membership is $40 for individuals and $15 for students aged 18-25.
