Broadway In Binghamton Announces Its 2026-2027 Season

Hello Binghamton…It’s Showtime!

Broadway In Binghamton is proud to announce its highly anticipated lineup for The 2026-2027 M&T Bank Broadway Season. Celebrating 50 years, this historic season will bring six award-winning, premiere engagements to the Broome County Forum Theatre.

Starting this September, Binghamton will welcome the following productions included in the 5-show package: MYSTIC PIZZA, THE BODYGUARD, BEETLEJUICE, THE WIZ, and HADESTOWN. Subscribers will also have the option to purchase BOOK OF MORMON, and make it a 6-Show package.

Broadway In Binghamton will also be celebrating 50 years this season. Founded in 1976 by Binghamton native and  Tony Award-winning producer Albert Nocciolino, Broadway In Binghamton has been committed to bringing the best of Broadway and family entertainment to the Southern Tier for over five decades.

“It’s been a tremendous honor bringing world-class productions to this area for 50 years,” said Albert Nocciolino, President of Broadway In Binghamton. “There is simply nothing like live theatre, and the fact that we’ve been able to introduce generations of audience members to the world of Broadway is something to be proud of, and this is going to be our greatest season yet.”

Renewals have begun for current subscribers. Subscribers this year have the option to purchase a 5-show package, or the full 6-show package that includes The Book of Mormon. Season ticket packages, offering the best access and value, start at $279 and can now be purchased by calling (607)772-1391.

Broadway In Binghamton emphasizes that these packages not only guarantee seats to the most in-demand shows, but also provide flexibility and exclusive benefits for dedicated theater fans. Dates for purchasing tickets to individual shows have not yet been announced, making Season Tickets the best way to secure a seat to these shows.

 

MYSTIC PIZZA

September 29 & 30, 2026

Based on the beloved 1988 MGM rom-com that launched the career of Julia Roberts, MYSTIC PIZZA is a new musical about three working-class girls who navigate the complexities of life, love and family in a small-town pizza joint serving everyone from the townies to the privileged country club set. And what’s in that secret sauce, you ask? The hits of the 80s and 90s! The hit songs range from “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” to “Hold On” to “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.”

 

THE BODYGUARD

November 1, 2026 (Performances at 1:00PM & 6:30PM)

Based on Tim Burton’s dearly beloved film, this hilarious musical tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes. With an irreverent book, and a score that’s out of this Netherworld, BEETLEJUICE is “SCREAMINGLY GOOD FUN!” (Variety). And under its uproarious surface (six feet under, to be exact), it’s a remarkably touching show about family, love, and making the most of every Day-O!
