The Retired Professional Fire Fighters Cancer Fund recently made a $15,000. donation to Johns Hopkins Kidney Cancer Research Program. The donation was made in memory of Lt. Jack C. Zoppo, who was a Baltimore City Fire Fighter who passed from kidney cancer in 2004. The donation took place at “Jack’s Fire House” in Baltimore, MD. Pictured is President Bill Newland (R.P.F.F.C.F.), Doctor Michael Carducci of Johns Hopkins Kidney Cancer Research and Family members of Jack C. Zoppo. Since 2010, The Retired Professional Fire Fighters Cancer Fund has raised and donated over $250,000. to established, promising, world class cancer research programs.
