EAP Center Presents at Business Development Symposium
The EAP Center presented at the recent Business Development Symposium where attendees learned about State, regional, and local resources to meet the diversity of small business need. Under Governor Andrew M. Cuomo’s leadership, New York State has replaced the State’s top-down, “one-size fits all” approach to economic development with one that is regionally-based and performance-driven. This new approach has been extended to our urban centers. Governor Cuomo has made it a priority to end the cycle of decline in our Upstate cities and breathe new life into our downtowns.
With the EAP Center’s assistance, recent New York State MWBE certifications have been approved for Sakinah Collins with Dust Bunniez and Magnolia Ariza-Nieto with epiWELL, LLC. The EAP Center is waiting word on ten other businesses and working with fourteen others to get the certification application completed!
