Chamber to Host Legislative Agenda Rollout & Local Lobby Day January 24th
Binghamton – The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce will host an Eggs and Issues titled Legislative Agenda Rollout & Local Lobby Day, January 24th, from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn, 2 Hawley St, Binghamton, NY 13901.
It is important for Upstate to have a voice! This unique event is designed to give business leaders access to their elected representatives. As the legislative session begins, business community concerns need to be understood and advocated for. Instead of having businesses go all the way to Albany to discuss their concerns with elected officials, they can advocate for their interests here in Binghamton.
After a brief presentation, attendees will be walking to the State Office Building to meet with state elected officials for scheduled meetings to ensure the business voice is heard! This will provide key information to our elected officials, so they can make a case for a pro-growth pro-business agenda in Albany!
At this event, the Chamber will unveil its 2019 Legislative Agenda and Michael Kracker, the Executive Director of Unshackle Upstate, will present their 2019 legislative priorities.
