Chamber meets with Regional Economic Development Council
The Chamber met with the full Regional Economic Development Council (REDC) to discuss some of the plans for this year’s round of Consolidated Funding Applications (CFA). Also discussed was the deadlines and the focus for this year’s REDC’s which includes; projects intended to create or retain jobs; prevent, reduce or eliminate unemployment and underemployment; and/or increase business or economic activity in a community or region. Special consideration will also be given to projects supporting Veterans’ related projects and downtown revitalization initiative projects.
