Chamber Meets with Broome Tioga BOCES
The Chamber met with representatives from the Broome – Tioga BOCES to discuss how to better connect BOCES with the business community in the Southern Tier. Many schools across the Southern Tier participate in the P-TECH program in order to direct students into Science-Technology-Engineering-Arts & Math (STEAM) careers.
Upon high school graduation, P-TECH tracked students will graduate with a 2 year college degree in a STEAM career path, and connections in the business community. The Chamber is highly supportive of P-TECH and believes this is a great benefit to high school students across the state. As these conversations progress, please stay posted for more information and how your business can get involved in helping to shape the future of this county.
