Chamber Issues Memo of Support for Assembly Bill 7540 and Senate Bill 5815
The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce has issued a memo of support in regards to Assembly bill 7540 and Senate bill 5815.
There are two key components of this legislation. First, this bill would provide a “pass” and allow for a cure period on first-time regulatory offenses that do not put the public’s safety or health at risk. Second, it would give necessary support and guidance to small employers to come into compliance.
