Chamber focuses on Workforce development
The Chamber continues to be supportive and engage in all workforce development initiatives and we are eager to see improvements for the betterment of our membership and the business community. A major piece of this struggle continues to be a gap between the skills of our current workforce and the training demands of the existing open positions.
We are looking to map out the skills and training needed to fill these open positions and find ways to bring our workforce up to speed. In order to create this map, we are asking our members and the business community of Broome County to complete a brief survey that we are partnering on with Broome-Tioga Workforce.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could please take 5 minutes to fill out this survey. Your 5 minutes will be helping to contribute in efforts to address the skills and training gaps in this region.
