Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park Announces the Arrival of Two Golden-Headed Lion Tamarins

The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park is excited to announce the arrival of two golden-headed lion tamarins, Dan and Valentine. Dan, a 15-year-old male, came to the zoo in April from the Utica Zoo. Valentine, a 6-year-old female, comes to us from Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington, DC. These two primates are here on a breeding recommendation through the golden-headed lion tamarin Species Survival Plan (SSP).
